What is the MND YPC?
Philanthropy, literally meaning "love of humanity" is alive and well at MND! The MND Youth Philanthropy Council is a student-directed organization committed to learning about philanthropy and the role it plays in a healthy and vibrant community. The MND YPC has been given a gift of up to $5000 that it must invest in Cincinnati area non-profits, helping our community address some important social needs. This will be a year of exploration, fund-raising, decision-making, visiting, deliberating and celebration for our student philanthropists. In addition, the process the YPC will continue to lead the city-wide youth philanthropy initiative, as well as being a starting point for a larger philanthropy education program that is being developed at MND.
